Tates DS STORE Crawley is a new, boutique-inspired, outlet for customers and prospects of DS Automobiles. Located in the West Sussex area in Crawley, it has selected Sally Gunnell OBE to be its DS Ambassador, aiming to generate wider awareness for the DS brand, its product and services.
Sally was at Tates DS STORE recently meeting staff and management led by Dealer Principal Trevor Meadows, and was also introduced to Alain Descat, UK MD at DS Automobiles who shared forthcoming developments including the new electrified (all-electric and hybrid) vehicles that are due to arrive early in 2020.
The first opportunity in her most recent capacity as local DS Ambassador will be at Tates DS STORE with a MacMillan Coffee event on the 27 September where Sally is the guest speaker.

ABOUT SALLY GUNNELL OBE
In the 1993 New Year Honours, Gunnell was made an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) and in the 1998 Queen’s Birthday Honours, she was made an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire). In 2011, Gunnell was appointed Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex.
Sally is the only female British athlete to have won Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth titles, and is the only female 400m hurdler in history to have won the Olympic and World titles, and broken the world record.
