Hell-raising rock star John Lydon is appearing in a one-off show in Dudley next year, it was revealed today.
The former Sex Pistols frontman, also known as Johnny Rotten, is flying over from his home in Los Angeles for an informal evening of conversation and audience questions at Dudley Town Hall.
The show, called I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right, will take place at the St James’s Road venue on Wednesday October 21 next year, and coincides with the publication of his new book.
Tickets will go on sale from 10am next Friday (Nov 1) and are expected to be snapped up quickly.
Lydon was considered the poster boy of the punk movement during his time as frontman of the Sex Pistols in the late 1970s and is known for being outspoken and rebellious.
Rupert Knowlden, manager of Dudley Town Hall, said:
Tickets for the show start from £30 and will be available from November 1 online at www.boroughhalls.co.uk or via the box office by calling (01384) 812812. Doors will open at 6.45pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.
