Punk icon John Lydon to appear in Dudley

The show, called I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right, will take place at the St James’s Road venue on Wednesday October 21 next year, and coincides with the publication of his new book.

Tickets will go on sale from 10am next Friday (Nov 1) and are expected to be snapped up quickly.

Lydon was considered the poster boy of the punk movement during his time as frontman of the Sex Pistols in the late 1970s and is known for being outspoken and rebellious.

Rupert Knowlden, manager of Dudley Town Hall, said:

We are delighted to announce a date with John Lydon – perhaps better known as Johnny Rotten – at Dudley Town Hall next year.

John is an icon and a revolutionary. As frontman and lyricist of the Sex Pistols, he changed the face of music and sparked a cultural revolution.

John lives out in LA and rarely works in the UK nowadays, so this is a one-off opportunity for fans to see him up-close and personal.
