Making it easier to report anti-social behaviour

Sandwell Council has launched a new online form to help people report anti-social behaviour.

The form – which is available on MySandwell at www.sandwell.gov.uk/asb – provides a single point of entry for all anti-social behaviour reports to the council.

It will make sure reports are sent to the right team to deal with the matter and also enables customers to be regularly updated.

Councillor Maria Crompton, Sandwell Council’s cabinet member for safer communities, said: “Some residents had told us they were unsure how to report anti-social behaviour and that, once they’d reported it, we weren’t always good at keeping them informed.

“This new online form should improve our response, making sure residents get to the right team for the type of issue they are reporting and helping them keep up to date with the case. It will also help us prioritise our resources to deal with issues more quickly according to risk and severity.

“Sandwell residents have been involved in its testing to ensure it is as intuitive and easy to use as possible.”
