A great line-up of live entertainment has been announced for this year’s fireworks display and bonfire party at Dartmouth Park, West Bromwich, on Friday 1 November.
Tickets are now on sale for the event, which is themed around the 50th anniversary of two iconic moments from the 60s – the first Moon landings and the release of the album Abbey Road by The Beatles.
Live entertainment to reflect the theme of the event includes the Black Country Beatles, a popular local tribute band playing songs from Abbey Road and other albums.
Other entertainment:
- Fizzog’s Dancing Grannies
- James Wythes – Midlands Counties male singer of the year
- Holly Wright – Midland Counties female singer of the year
- Holly Aston – Joint winner of the Sandwell SHAPE talent show 2019
- Bhangra Smash Up – returning by popular demand
- Plus, a couple of young contestants from this year’s SHAPE festival.
There will be a fireworks display and a bonfire as well as junior fair, stilt walkers, food stalls, flow lights and licensed bar.
To avoid disappointment, people are being encouraged to buy early-bird tickets online at discounted rates.
Online prices are £5 for adults, £3 for children aged two to 17, and £12 for a family ticket for two adults and up to two children. Children under the age of two go free.
Gates open at 5pm, the bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and the fireworks start at 7.45pm.
Limited tickets will available on the door at £6 for adults, £4 for children aged between two and 17, and £15 for a family ticket for two adults and up to two children (children under the age of two go free) but people are urged to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.
