The line-up for this year’s civic Christmas carol concert in Sandwell has been announced.
The 130th concert takes place at West Bromwich Town Hall on Saturday 7 December and will be hosted by Sandwell Mayor, Councillor Dr Ann Jaron.
Performers include the Sandwell Youth Brass Band and the Saint Catherine of Siena Academy Choir featuring pupils from Our Lady and St Hubert’s, and St Francis Xavier Catholic Primary Schools from Oldbury; and St Gregory’s and St Philip’s Catholic Primary Schools in Smethwick.
Compere for the event will be Phil Challoner, soloists are Beki Challoner and Isabel Cash and the choir director is Tanya Derhham.
The concert starts at 6.30pm and promises a wonderful opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and raise money for the Mayor’s two charities which are the Brushstrokes Community Project and Sandwell Young Carers.
Tickets are available online and cost £5 or £2.50 for concessions.
