From Monday, 2 March 2020, we will be providing a monthly bereavement hub based at New Cross Hospital.
This is a joint partnership with Compton Care and uses the established Compassionate Communities model. Trained volunteers will facilitate the hub which is offered as a means of support to anyone affected by loss or grief, and offer a friendly place to meet and talk to others who share similar experiences.
The hub may serve simply as a safe, social meeting space for bereaved people, or they may access it to gain further information and signposting to other supportive organisations.
The first hub will be held on Monday, 2 March 2020 in the Seminar Room, Ground Floor, Heart and Lung Centre, and then every first Monday of the month, between 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
