On Wednesday 12 April, the Children’s Laureate, Joseph Coelho, will visit Lichfield Street Hub Library in Walsall as part of his nationwide ‘Library Marathon’.
The award-winning performance poet, playwright and children’s author is visiting local libraries to highlight their crucial roles in community building and encouraging the love of reading among young people.
Whether you are an adult, child, young person or a lover of poems, you are welcome to attend and take part in a craft session based on ‘The Hairdo that got away’, followed by family story time.
The event is suitable for ages 4 years and over.
